Nicole Jimeno is continuing to lash out at Chantel Jimeno on The Family Chantel, and many viewers are branding Pedro’s younger sister as jealous.
Nicole Jimeno is coming under fire from The Family Chantel fans for things she said about series star Chantel Jimeno, and many viewers are accusing Pedro Jimeno’s little sister of being jealous. Nicole and Chantel have had an ongoing rivalry over the years that has not improved even though Pedro became close friends with Chantel’s brother Rivert Everett after the two men initially fought. While Chantel tried to mend her feud with her in-laws, Nicole has kept up the bitter blood with Chantel while also acting spiteful and jealous.
Pedro and Chantel’s marriage of over five years is coming to an end during The Family Chantel season 4, while viewers are now aware that the couple is officially divorcing in real time. While Pedro became close to Chantel’s family after their initial feud, Chantel never befriended Nicole or Pedro’s villainous mother, Lidia Jimeno. In an attempt to save her marriage, Chantel traveled to the Dominican Republic and appeared to make some progress with Lidia. However, things quickly worsened when Nicole spoke to her mother and blasted Chantel. Lidia then called Pedro, and he became furious that Chantel had visited his mother behind his back and shared their marital problems.
While Lidia surprisingly supported Chantel and Pedro staying together, Nicole was as quick as ever to drive the couple apart. Nicole immediately told her mother that she thought Pedro could find plenty of prettier women with better bodies in the Dominican Republic. This comment did not go over well with viewers, as Chantel is considered one of the most beautiful women in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Many viewers branded Nicole jealous for attacking Chantel’s looks. Nicole was further dragged by fans for seemingly wanting to become Chantel. Pedro’s sister has turned to plastic surgery to alter her looks, and many viewers can’t help but notice how much Nicole is copying aspects of Chantel’s appearance.
While Nicole’s bitterness was interpreted as jealousy, many The Family Chantel viewers also think she has an unhealthy preoccupation with Chantel. Nicole appears to think and talk about Chantel a lot and has a deep and almost obsessive desire to see Chantel split from her brother. In fact, Nicole is still trying to urge her friend Coraima Morla into coming between Chantel and Pedro. Nicole previously started a rumor that Pedro cheated on Chantel with Coraima, while previews for next week’s episode depict Nicole telling Coraima that Pedro and Chantel’s separation is finally Coraima’s chance to be with Pedro.
Overall, it appears that Nicole is preoccupied with thoughts of Chantel and has real animosity and fury directed at her soon-to-be former sister-in-law. In contrast, Chantel appears to spend significantly less time thinking about and talking about Nicole. Instead, Chantel made an earnest attempt to save her marriage to Pedro and make amends with his family. Unfortunately, her plan ended up backfiring and leading to Pedro becoming even more angry, cold, and distant.
